PZL P.11c – Aerofly FS 1 Add-On Aircraft 6

PZL P.11c for aerofly FS

Description

The PZL P.11 was a Polish fighter aircraft, designed in the early 1930s by PZL in Warsaw. It was briefly considered to be the most advanced fighter aircraft design in the world. The PZL P.11 served as Poland’s primary fighter defence in the Polish campaign of 1939, but by that point was outdated due to rapid advances in aircraft design in comparison to more advanced contemporary fighters, including the Hawker Hurricane and Messerschmitt Bf 109.

Installation

To install the aircraft decompress the zip-achieve and move the folder “pzl_p11c”
into the user folder of the aerofly FS into the subdirectory “aircraft”.
The user folder is usually located in your own documents (“C:\Users\~\Documents\aerofly FS”) and
the aerofly Wiki provides further information about it:
aeroflyWiki/UserFolder

Example:
“C:\Users\~\Documents\aerofly FS\aircraft\pzl_p11c\pzl_p11c.tmd”

The aircraft uses sound files from default aircraft. And because the sounds of the default aerofly FS aircraft
are copyrighted they are not included in this download. They have to be copied over manually and here is the
description on how to do that.

The files of all default aircraft are located within the installation folder of the aerofly FS.
This is the folder where the aerofly main executable is located.
Follow the link to the aerofly Wiki to get further information about the installation folder:
aeroflyWiki/InstallationFolder

From “InstallationFolder\aircraft\cessna172” copy all *.tsb files into the “pzl_p11c” folder.

    Windows 10 user. FS 1 (version 1.2.0.9)

Downloaded the P.11. The aircraft appears on the selection screen… looks great… but when i click to load it, the Cessna 172 is loaded instead. Any idea why the P-11 doesn’t load into the game? (i haven’t transferred any of the files from the Cessna to the P.11).

    Cheers

      Hello Matt,
do you use the Aerofly FS 1 Steam version? Because I have had quite a lot of people reporting that aircraft are not working for them in the Steam version. Have you succeeded in installing other aircraft, other than this P.11C?
      Cheers,
      Jan

Hi, thank you for the quick reply Jan! Yes I am using the Steam version of FS 1.
Just downloaded the Spitfire Vb & the same thing happens, it appears in the selection but the Cessna comes up when it loads.
Any idea if there is a way around it?

That’s a shame. I’ve never seen a P-11 available for a flight sim before & the screen shots look great! Thanks for your help though. Do these FS1 aircraft work on the new FS 2?

No, the Aerofly FS 2 uses different 3D model files. When the aircraft SDK of the Aerofly FS 2 is release, then we will be able to create our own aircraft.
