Description

The “Schleicher ASH 31 Mi” is a single seat glider of the open class. ASH is an acronym which stands for Alexander Schleicher and Martin Heide and spoken as A S H not “ash”. It has a retractable engine that is powerful enough to enable the aircraft to start on its own. It also has a retractable landing gear and flaps. The original aircraft has a Lift to Drag ratio of 56, that means from an altitude of only 1000m the plane could glide 56km. Its maximum speed is 270km/h.

Installation

1. Download and un-zip the zip-compressed file for AeroflyFS 1.2 or for AeroflyFS 1.0.
   Keep in mind: This is a beta model, some features may not work as intended and this aircraft could crash your aeroflyFS. Use it at your own risk.
2. Move the folder “ash31” from the download to C:\Users\~\Documents\aerofly FS\aircraft .
3. Create a new sub-folder called “sound” in the folder “ash31”.
4. Browse to your aeroflyFS installation path (I installed the aeroflyFS here: %AppData%\IPACS\aerofly FS), open the folder of the Discus bM (“discus”) which is also located in “aircraft”,
   copy these files:
   airbrake-whistle.tsb
   gear-warning.tsb
   glider.tsb
   glider_airbrake.tsb
   glider_airbrake_in.tsb
   glider_airbrake_out.tsb
   glider_gear.tsb
   glider_gear_down.tsb
   glider_gear_up.tsb
   glider_sideslip.tsb
   ground_roll.tsb
   and paste them into the new created sub-folder “sound” of the ASH 31.
5. Start the aeroflyFS and fly!

1. Laden Sie den zip-komprimierten Ordner für AeroflyFS 1.2 bzw AeroflyFS 1.0 herunter.
   Bitte berücksichtigen: Es handelt sich um ein Beta-Modell, evtl. funktionieren manche Funktionen nicht, es kann zur Programminstabilität kommen. (Nutzung auf eigene Gefahr)
2. Verschieben Sie den Ordner “ash31” aus dem Download nach: C:\Users\~\Documents\aerofly FS\aircraft .
3. Erstellen Sie in dem Ordner “ash31” einen neuen Unterordner mit dem Namen “sound”.
4. Gehen Sie in das Verzeichnis, das Sie bei der Installation des Aeroflys angegeben haben und öffnen Sie den Ordner “aircraft” und anschließend “discus”.
5. Kopieren Sie diese Dateien:
   airbrake-whistle.tsb
   gear-warning.tsb
   glider.tsb
   glider_airbrake.tsb
   glider_airbrake_in.tsb
   glider_airbrake_out.tsb
   glider_gear.tsb
   glider_gear_down.tsb
   glider_gear_up.tsb
   glider_sideslip.tsb
   ground_roll.tsb
   in den neu erstellten “sound”-Ordner.
6. Starten Sie den AeroflyFS und laden Sie das neue Modell. Viel Spaß beim Fliegen!
